Imminent new 'T:120' and 'OO' from Hornby...
We're looking forward to this fresh new batch of Hornby models for TT:120 and 'OO', due to arrive early next week!
New arrivals include iconic 'TT:120' Southern 0-6-0 'Terriers', classic 'OO' GWR Collett coaching stock, and a retro-inspired streamlined LNER express for 'OO'. Here’s a closer look at what’s on the way — including a little history behind each.
TT3038M – SR Terrier W14 Bembridge (TT:120)
Originally built for the London, Brighton & South Coast Railway (LB&SCR) in the 1870s, the 'Terrier' class earned fame for its light axle load and lively performance on branch lines. After grouping, several passed to the Southern Railway, including W14 Bembridge, which worked the Isle of Wight’s tight curves and short trains with characteristic 'Terrier' charm. Hornby’s TT model captures the petite yet powerful look of this Victorian favourite perfectly.

TT3039M – LB&SCR Terrier Brighton (TT:120)
Brighton represents the 'Terrier' class in its original Stroudley 'Improved Engine Green' livery — a striking reminder of the Victorian golden age of steam. Built at Brighton Works, the class was renowned for its speed and reliability, earning their nickname for their feisty performance. A timeless addition for TT:120 collectors.

R40472–R40476 – BR Collett coaches (OO)
Designed by Charles Collett for the Great Western Railway in the 1920s, these coaches represented the height of GWR comfort and craftsmanship. Their smooth ride and elegant design served passengers for decades, with many surviving into BR’s maroon era.
Each model features beautifully reproduced interiors and authentic detailing — perfect for pairing with your favourite GWR or BR Western Region locomotive.

R1290M – Triang RS9 Intercity Express Train Set £161.98 Add to basket
A nostalgic treat! This special release recreates the classic Triang RS9 Intercity Express Train Set, a beloved 1960s design reimagined for today’s collectors. It’s a perfect blend of retro style and modern reliability — ideal for fans of Hornby heritage and newcomers alike. The box artwork speaks to the original mid-century optimism of the future as new high-rise building developments surround the post steam-era railway - now governed by diesels and electrics.
R30406 – LNER Streamlined B17 City of London 2870 (OO)

A stunning recreation of one of the LNER’s streamlined B17/5 'Sandringham' class locomotives, City of London evokes the elegance and optimism of 1930s express travel. The real B17s hauled prestigious passenger services across the Eastern Region, being lighter than Gresley's A4s, and so giving them better route availability, while maintaining the outward appearance and styling of 'speed'. Hornby’s model perfectly captures the art-deco flair and power of this unique locomotive.
